That’s a bad idea, even if you could get one.
Credit Cards are always a bad idea. DO not get one.
I’m not sure who reported me, or thought it’d be a good idea, but allow me to add a disclaimer since it went over your head.
This is MY opinion, and according to the “rules” I am allowed to state an opinion. I did nothing wrong in stating that credit cards are “evil”
Have a nice day.

Absolutely not. You can HOPE to get a secured credit card, but most banks won’t even give you that. Takes a minimum of 2 years before you can apply for an unsecured credit card. Bankruptcy is not a joke. Been there, done that.
P.S. All other answers are spam, ignore them.

Of course you can, there are several companies that will work with you.
After my discharge back in 2001 I used Orchard Bank First Premier, H.S.B.C. and finally Capital One to reestablish my credit within 12-months I was able to buy a new car with no money down at 3.9% through Ford.
All of the above cards do have high fees and interest rates but once you pay the fees simply use them for every day thing like a tank of gas or lunch and pay them off in full every month before the due date and your credit score will rise quickly.

It will probably take 2 to 3 years before you can start rebuilding your credit.

Yes you can. As the other individual said … Orchard Bank is probably the best one to re-establish your credit. They will start you off with a 300.00 balance, as you pay back on time they will raise your limit.

You can and it will be for very little credit. If you are getting one make sure you pay it off each month. This is a good way to start building your credit. Every month you pay off the credit card it will help your credit score. So if you do use it, try to only put on a small amount that you know you can pay off.
Now that your free of credit card debt though, be careful not to repeat the pattern. Some consumers who get a credit card after bankruptcy find themselves back struggling with too much debt a few years later.
